Does an acupuncture treatment hurt?

Acupuncture treatment doesn’t hurt. When inserting the needle, you feel a small prick the moment the needle passes through the skin. The needles used are thin and they are pricked very precisely at special acupuncture points. The needles are placed in such a way that the energy flow is optimized and also that it brings relaxation.
You may feel a shock after insertion and when moving the needle. Acupuncturists call that the qì and this means that the needle does its job.

Are the needles sterile?

Of course.
All needles are used once and are sterile packed before use.

Each consultation takes about an hour.
