A Vision

Last week I heard an old track by Fat boy Slim. It gave me a vision about a very simple flyer.
Now guess what; It materialised today.
“It doesn’t look like a yoga flyer” said my girlfriend.
Nope, it’s not supposed to look like the average yoga add.
Oi, I think it’s kinda punk style, Oi! I mean Ohm.

At This moment my favorite contemporary painter from Holland must be Ge-Karel van der Sterren. His use of colour is overbold and blatant and his visual language is unconventional and ornate. Yet all this in a very personal and original style.

Once I had a book with prints and sketches by Hiroshige, the Japanese master printer. But now I don’t know where it is anymore. Where did I lose my precious book. It must have been four houses and five years ago that I last saw it. I must dig it up in some attic in some box where I put it away. Maybe I lend it out, but to who?

Meditation Is Not What You Think

All of your training has been to know the outer world, and to become skillful at manipulating the external world for your own benefit. But unless you learn to know yourself, whatever you do in the external world will not produce the results you want. If a tire is out of balance, no matter how wonderfully it was designed in other respects, it will not function properly. Unless you achieve inner balance, no matter how much you know about performing in the outer world, you will fall short of your goals.
