The Divine Mother of the Universe

As I said in the previous post my friend George from Austria is a tattooist. This one here is mine on the inside of my upper arm. It’s the tattoo I always wanted but only had it done seven or eight years before. The pirate style design is by me. Now how do you like that!

“The primal stirring of pure awareness that gives rise to existence is Shakti. Pure awareness is static, transcendent, peace, unmoving, and unchanging. Every God in Hinduism has his Shakti and without Her energy they have no power. The play of female energy has no beginning and no end. Although restless by nature, it cycles through periods of rest and motion.”
